Erie KOA Kampgrounds is looking for summer help from mid April 2010 through October 2010. Part-time jobs. Applicants MUST be customer service focused enjoy working in a small team and be able to work evenings, weekend and holidays. Prospective applicants must have transportation to get to work.

Job Positions available:
Short Term Temporary - Campground Spring Cleanup - No application required for this job

Duties include:
1. Winter cleanup of grounds (raking of leaves, pickup trash and fallen branches)
2. Repair, cleaning and repainting of fixtures, buildings, sites, fences, etc.
Requirements:
- Have good handyman, landscaping and gardening skills.
- Must be physically fit to lift, handle lawn equipment and maintenance duties
- Have have duty work cloth, boot and gloves. It can be cold and wet that time of the year.
- Have own transportation to get to/from work
Guest Services/Front Desk/Store
Duties include:
1. Ensure every guest has Great Enjoyable stay at the Erie KOA.
2. Greeting guests, do camper reservation, & registration, store sales, merchandize stocking, and cleaning, assist with fun activities for campers.
3. At times it will also include assisting with bathroom & kabin housekeeping, general grounds maintenance and cleanup and assisting with organized activities.
Requirements:
- Possess excellent customer service skills and aptitude
- Must have good working computer
knowledge.
- Must have good knowledge of local area and attractions
- Must be well groomed and wear KOA uniform (shirts provided) at all times while on duty.
- Be physically fit to perform required duties.
- Must ensure all guests will have a "Great Camping" experience at the Erie KOA
Outside Guest Services and Maintenance
Duties include:
1. Ensure every guest has Great Enjoyable stay at the Erie KOA.
2. Landscape, buildings sites and ground maintenance and cleaning, including cutting grass, hedge trimming, garden weeding, trash pick-up pool maintenance, paining etc.
3. Escort arriving campers to their assigned sites and guide them while parking their RV in their site.
3. While on the grounds ensure rules are observed and campground safety is maintained by guests and staff.
4. At times it will also include assisting with bathroom cleaning, kabin housekeeping general grounds maintenance and cleanup and assisting with organized activities.
Requirements:
